Abdominoplasty: Salinas and Monterey, CA

The midsection, for both men and women, can be an extremely sensitive area. Prone to fat and water retention, it’s easy to see why so many people are self-conscious of their midsection. At least the 90′s are over and crop-top shirts are out- for now- but you never know when they may make a resurgence. More-over, being constantly self-conscious of an area of your body can hold you back from living your life to the fullest. It can restrict your clothing, perhaps you are too embarrassed to wear your swimsuit at the beach or more fitted clothes. Once it starts restricting your clothing, it can start dictating the places you go, the people you’re around, and eventually you aren’t left living much of a life at all.

Maybe you’ve recently even lost some weight, but instead of tightening back up to it’s previous form, your midsection is simply left drooped and sagging. An Abdominoplasty- more commonly known as a Tummy Tuck- is a very successful way for people at a stabilized weight to achieve the excellence they have been unable to achieve on their own through diet and exercise alone. It is a common procedure for recent Mothers, people who’ve lost a significant amount of weight, and people with stubborn fat deposits, likely genetic, that just don’t seem to go away.

The flat stomach you’ve always desired is attainable. Feel free to peruse our Before and After Abdominoplasty Gallery to let the results speak for themselves!

Abdominoplasty, also known as Tummy Tuck, is a procedure in which the excess skin and fat in the mid-section is removed and the muscles of the abdomen are tightened. When the muscles of the abdomen become loose or separated, the abdomen sticks out, but once they have been sutured closer together, the abdomen lies flat. The remaining skin is then closed over the newly flattened abdominal muscles to create a more contoured, flattering mid-section.

Often Abdominoplasty may be done in conjunction with other procedures such as Liposuction, Breast Lift, or Thigh Lift. If you are ready to discuss your options for a more finely contoured waist, contact our office to schedule your confidential consultation.

Men and women who have recently undergone a dramatic weight loss, women who’ve had multiple pregnancies, as well as people who have a difficult time losing weight in their mid-section may be good candidates for Abdominoplasty.
